The Great Heart of Timpanogos first inspired cave seekers in 1913 when Timpanogos Cave was discovered by two local teenage boys. The two-ton stalactite has been celebrated over the years for its striking heart-like appearance. Today the cave is known for the diversity and colors of its fanciful formations. Along with the Great Heart, they continue to fuel imagination and wonder in thousands of park visitors each year.
