The Spearfish National Fish Hatchery, now known as D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery & Archives, was established in 1896. Spanning over 11 acres, the grounds include ponds, raceways, historic buildings and nature trails. 125 years later, trout are still produced and stocked for the public.
